We had such a good time and Santa was able to make it too. There was lots of good food and I hope everyone got their fill. Here are some pictures as always click on the link on the right labeled December 2007 for all the pictures of our party. A special thank you to Jim Barnes and Carmen Burrows for making time to attend our party. We also had the Chesapeake LCC Janet there and Elaine from South Africa and her host family who moved from Williamsburg to Chesapeake. Elaine's year is almost up and she is getting ready to leave.Everyone watching Santa hoping he brought them a gift.

Ghost tour
We meet in Williamsburg to participate in the Colonial Williamsburg Ghost tour. We learned about ghost sightings while walking through town. It was a bit chilly but fun otherwise. Anyone spotted any ghosts? I took lots of pictures to see if one was captured on film so click on the November link on the site and see what you find.

check out the map
I was playing around with google's different features and found this program that lets you do maps. I marked all the countries that our group had Au pairs from so far. Use the tools on the left to zoom in or out. The map is on the right tool bar or you can view it on the home page.

Firesafety
We had a good time listening to the firefighters of Station 6. They taught us how to use a fire extinguisher, how to put out a kitchen fire and how to keep children safe. We got to see the equipment and the poor rookie had to dress and climb the ladder all the way up just to waive to us.
After that Dr. Hancock told us how to be safe around animals and answered questions for us and the firefighters. For example how to get a dog away from its unconscious owner??
Click on the February meeting link in the sidebar to see all the photos of todays meeting.
